Who can ask for a removal?
Anyone. Requests from the person recorded or named, their family, their community or the rights holder are treated as urgent and hide the page at once.
Do I need a lawyer?
No. A clear description of what concerns you and why is enough. We may ask for something that shows the connection.
What are the possible outcomes?
The page is restored as it was, edited (for example a name or photo removed) and restored, or removed permanently.
What if I only want a name taken out?
Say so. Editing is often the right answer, and the rest of the page can stay.
What about a recording of me?
Consent to recordings can be withdrawn. Everything the recording covers is hidden immediately and reviewed under our consent rules.
